VerifAI Privacy Policy

VerifAI ("the App") is developed by Nico Kafkas. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

What We Collect

When you use VerifAI to check a message, link, image, or QR code, the content you submit is sent to our secure backend for analysis. This includes:

Text messages or emails you paste or type
URLs or links you submit for checking
Photos or screenshots you choose to analyze
Voice transcriptions from spoken messages
QR code URLs detected by your camera

How We Use Your Data

Content you submit is used solely to provide scam detection analysis. It is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI API for analysis and the result is returned to your device. We do not store, sell, or share your submitted content.

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your name, email, or personal information
We do not require account creation
We do not track your location
We do not store submitted messages or images on our servers
We do not share your data with advertisers

Data Storage

Scan history is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to any server. You can clear your scan history at any time from within the App.

Third Party Services

VerifAI uses the following third party services:

Anthropic Claude API — AI analysis of submitted content. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy
Cloudflare Workers — Secure backend infrastructure. Subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

Children's Privacy

VerifAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page.
